The course has been kept in incredibly great shape, and is not as easy as the slope rating would make you think. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the price is a bargain.

Rancho is priced slightly above other public courses in the area. They do not offer "deals" that are worth mentioning. The course is probably a bit tougher then average, and it is kept in pretty good condition year round. Pace of play is a little slower then most other courses. It is litterally carved out of pasture land. There are a lot of mature trees that line the course.

One of the best golf vacations in a long time. Course and staff were the best you can get. Loved every minute.

the pace of play was incredibly slow. there was three foursomes of senior women in front and a foursome of young men who have minimal experience at best directily behind them and in front of us. five mind numbing hours later we were finished. BUT the layout is way above average. the greens were receptable. smooth, with lots of character(dont be on wrong side of hole). kind of old school with treelined fairways but the fairways were immaculate.

Great value, course is sometimes in need of repair.

I play this course regularly, and it is typically well above average for a general public course. The greens are usually excellent and somewhat faster than a typical public course.

I have played in L.A, San Diego, Nor Cal, and this course is GREAT. Just like any Golf course you can get stuck behind a few slow groups. But for the most part this course plays quick and is always is good shape. For the price there is not much better. And if you know how to talk to the staff.. they are not as bad as you think. I love this course and am glad to call it HOME!
